Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning Resolution 2018-15.

Background
Over the past few month City staff worked with Barge Design Solutions, and numerous stake holders to develop a master plan for the Southeast Municipal Complex. The stake holders generally included: Friends of Franklin Parks, Franklin Cowboys, Franklin Baseball, Franklin Lacrosse, Connectivity Trail Committee, Williamson County Convention & Visitor Bureau, Citizen & Inclusive Playgrounds Committee, and the surrounding HOAs.

Below is the history associated with the project:

October 25, 2016 BOMA approved Resolution 2016-69, "A Resolution to Adopt the Project List for Phase I for the FY 2017-2026 CIP (Capital Investment Program). As part of the CIP the Board approved $13,000,000 for the East/Southeast Multipurpose Park.

June 13, 2016 BOMA approved a professional services agreement with Barge Design Solutions in the amount of $396,046 to assist staff in the development of the Southeast Municipal Complex Master Planning
