Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the proposed reorganization of the Human Resources Department.
Background
With the continued emphasis of integration of more and more larger scale projects being incorporated into the daily operations of the Human Resources Department, three position changes within the department are being requested in order to better handle the evolving needs of our City.
The first change is the reclassification of the Administrative Assistant Part-time to Administrative Assistant Full-Time. The second requested change is the reclassification of the vacant Assistant HR Director to the position of HR Manager. And, the final requested change, is the reclassification of the Benefits Technician to the position of HR Generalist.
Financial Impact
There will be no financial impact to the 2017-2018 budget due to vacancies within the department.
