Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Battle Ave Project.
Background
On November 26, 2013, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a Professional Services Agreement (COF Contract 2013-0180) with Neel-Schaffer, Inc. for engineering design services, including additional drainage modeling and preparation of contract plans and specifications, on the 100 Block Battle Avenue Drainage Improvements Project.
On December 9, 2014 Resolution 2014-50, A Resolution to Approve the Preliminary Design and Authorize Staff to Proceed with Final Design, Right-of-Way Acquisition and Construction Bidding Phase for the 100 Block Battle Avenue Drainage improvements project.
On April 28, 2015, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved amendment no. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement (COF Contract 2013-0180) for additional engineering design services on the 100 Block Battle Avenue Drainage Improvements Project.
On October 10, 2017, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a Professional services Agreement (COF Contract No. 2017-0251) with R. Rhett Turner, MAI for Right-of-Way Acquisition Services for the Battle Avenue Stormwater Project.
