Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning an agreement executed on behalf the City by Mayor Moore related to a catering agreement at the Cool Springs Conference Center
Background
In 2018, the operating agreement for the Cool Springs Conference Center along with the ownership of the Conference Center Hotel (Marriott) was transferred to Chartwell Hospitality. A number of documents related to this sale and the transfer of various operating agreement were approved and executed on behalf of BOMA at that time. The Catering Assignment Agreement was recently identified and was executed by Mayor Moore on behalf of the City. This was deemed to be consistent with prior authority granted by BOMA
Financial Impact
No Financial Impact to the City of Franklin.
