Report from Chartwell Hospitality regarding the Cool Springs Conference Center

Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a report from the management of Chartwell Hospitality as operator of the Cool Springs Conference Center.
Background
In late 2018, Chartwell Hospitality purchased the Cool Springs Marriott Hotel and also assumed the role as operator of the adjoining Cool Springs Conference Center, which is jointly owned by the City of Franklin and Williamson County. As Chartwell is approaching the end of its first full year in their new role, staff has invited their leadership to discuss with the Committee their assessment of the Conference Center and its operations.
