Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to notify the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA)
Background
Monsido is a web accessibility, digital governance platform. The software will allow us to keep up‐to‐date with accessibility guidelines; make sure our content is readable; check for misspellings and broken links; and provide analytics and Search Engine Optimization our site and pages. This purchase was approved in the FY 2019-2020 budget. The original platform listed in the budget was Site Improve. However, staff was able to find a more compatible platform (Monsido) at almost half the amount budgeted.
Financial Impact
The cost of the service is $4990.
