body

Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the sanitary sewer availability request at 2369 Henpeck Lane.

Background

Date of Request: 9/13/19,

SFUE’s Requested: 1,

Domestic Water Meter Size(s): ¾” (HB & TS District).

The new Henpeck Lane interceptor is currently under construction on the north side of Henpeck Lane that will connect the new Williamson County school to the City’s sewer system.  The applicant requested sewer availability and the Capitol Investment Committee granted their request.

While this is an atypical method of expanding the collection system, availability can be provided to this residence at a cost recoverable to the Water Management Department.  The WMD requests that the availability of 2369 Henpeck Lane be contingent upon the residents entering into an Agreement with conditions outlined in the attached Resolution. These conditions includes:

Property owner expresses a desire to annex into the City when the City deems it appropriate.

Property owner agrees to participate in any potential future special assessment district within the Goose Creek Basin.

Property owner is responsible for all costs to connect to the public sanitary sewer system.

The conditions of the agreement shall be recorded at the Williamson County Register of Deeds.

Financial Impact

No financial impact is anticipated from this Resolution.
