Acknowledge Contract No. 2019-0220 Between City of Franklin and Cintas Uniform Services

Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Water Management contract with Cintas Uniforms.
Background
The Water Management Department has contracted with Cintas Uniform rental to provide uniform services for the Service Division and Water Reclamation Facility. As part of the uniform rental, Cintas will provide pants and shirts for each employee, in addition to laundering services and replacement services if necessary. A uniform rental service will allow staff to provide a consistent message to customers as the Water Management Department.
This is a trial year for Cintas’ uniform rental services and the Department will assess the advantages and disadvantages at the end of the fiscal year to determine if we continue.
Financial Impact
Uniforms are budgeted out of the Wastewater Collections budget number of 431-83260-52212 for a total budgeted of $5,000, Water Distribution budget 421-83260-52102 for a total budget of $2,500, the Water Reclamation Facility budget number of 431-83260-52213 for a total budget of $3,500, and Utility Administration budget number of 431-83260-52211 for a total budget of $2,125.
