Purpose

The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the contract with Liquid Engineering for sediment removal at the City’s water storage tanks.

 

Background

The Water Management Department performs routine maintenance on the water storage tanks within the potable water distribution system on a periodic basis.  This contract was for this routine maintenance of cleaning sediment out of the bottom of the tanks.

 

Financial Impact

This contract was entered into for a total of $8,190.
