Acknowledgement of COF Contract No. 2019-0215 for a Subscription Service through Code Blue for an Emergency Cell Phone at the Fieldstone Farms Tunnels

Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning an agreement that has been entered between the City and Code Blue for the subscription service for an emergency cell phone at the Fieldstone Farms Tunnels.
Background
The Fieldstone Farms Tunnels are currently overseen by the City of Franklin Parks Department. The Parks Department, in cooperation with the Engineering Department, had an emergency cell phone placed near the tunnels through Code Blue. There was a beta testing phase which has now been complete and the subscription for service will now begin. This phone can be used by all members of the public in the case of an emergency in and around the tunnels.
Financial Impact
This is a 12-month term for 1 cell phone station which totals $360.00 dollars.
