Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the contract amendment.
Background
The City entered into a contract with Town Planning & Urban Design Collaborative (TPUDC) in October 2018 for consulting services related to the Zoning Ordinance update. The City staff needed additional work performed during the detailed Ordinance review phase and realizes the need for further services to accommodate additional community outreach and engagement, ongoing education, and consulting services following adoption.
Financial Impact
The amendment contains a request of up to $50,000 for services on an as needed basis. These funds are allocated in the FY2020 Planning and Sustainability Department budget for the purposes listed above.
