Background/Staff Comments
Resolution 2019-42 is a City of Franklin drafted plan of services for the annexed property being considered as part of the Southbrooke Development Plan. The Plan of Services outlines how infrastructure will need to be provided to serve the proposed annexed property of approximately 319 acres.
Water is located within the Hillsboro, Burwood, and Thompson Station Utility Districts, and will be required to have availability approved prior to development. Reclaimed water will not be required to be extended to serve the properties. The property is within the Goose Creek Sewer Basin and an unnamed sewer basin. Development will be required to extend sewer mains approximately 14,500 feet. Additional traffic control devices will be installed in the future, as needs are established with a traffic study corresponding to development. No additional manpower or equipment will be necessary for either Fire or Police Protection. Development will need to comply with the Conservation Subdivision Design Concept as outlined in Envision Franklin.
