Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a lease agreement between the City of Franklin and the East Franklin Farmer’s Market at Liberty Park for the farmer’s market hosted on Wednesday evenings inside Liberty Park.
Background
For several years the East Franklin Farmer’s Market has hosted a farmer’s market on Saturdays inside Liberty Park. This year they will be adding a Wednesday evening Farmer’s Market from 2:00pm-6:00pm inside Liberty Park. The term of this lease is from May 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019.
Financial Impact
The East Franklin Farmer’s Market will pay the City twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the rental term which was paid on May 9, 2019.

Staff recommended to the City Administrator to approve the attached agreement on behalf of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. This memorandum is to inform the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the signed agreement.
