Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the approval for additional engineering funds to be added to the current contract with The Renaissance Group for additional engineering services requested and required for site development, the realignment of MTEMC infrastructure, road and curb design, and cut/fill requirements.

Background
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) has approved construction of Fire Station 7 located on the southern portion of the Williamson County Ag Center site. Fire Station 7 will house Franklin Fire Department personnel along with a Williamson County Emergency Medical unit. The City contracted with The Renaissance Group to provide design services related to the civil building site, landscaping design, civil road design, and LEED (environmental sustainability documentation) at a cost totaling $244,000.00. This breaks down in the following manner:

Services for Fire Station facility: $188,051.72
(Architectural, structural, MPE and fire design)

Services for Emergency Management Services Side: $ 55,948.28

Total architectural cost total: $244,000.00
