Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Resolution Authorizing Condemnation For The Acquisition of Property For the PF Chang’s Portion of the Spencer Creek at Franklin Road Sanitary Sewer Project.
Background
The existing 8-inch sanitary sewer line behind PF Chang’s is in need of replacement. This section of line has been added to the Spencer Creek at Franklin Road Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project. In order to access the property and have onsite storage for equipment, materials and excavated material, a temporary construction easement is necessary. The purpose of this resolution is to have the ability to condemn the property in the case that the property owners do not grant the easement.
