Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a lease agreement between the City of Franklin and the East Franklin Farmer’s Market at Liberty Park for the farmer’s market hosted on Saturdays inside Liberty Park.
Background
For several years the East Franklin Farmer’s Market has hosted a farmer’s market on Saturdays inside Liberty Park. The markets run from 9:00am-2:00pm every Saturday during the lease term. The term of the renewed lease is from May 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019.
Financial Impact
East Franklin Farmer’s Market will pay the City twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the full-year rental which was paid on May 9, 2019.

Staff recommended to the City Administrator to approve the attached agreement on behalf of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. This memorandum is to inform the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the signed agreement.
