Acknowledgement of Agreement Between Tennessee Department of Health and City of Franklin (COF 2018-0271)

Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the annual agreement between the Tennessee Department of Health and the City of Franklin for the purpose of supporting the Williamson County Health Department.

 

Background

This is a standard agreement formalizing local and state contributions to the Williamson County Health Department. Through this agreement, the City provides support of $21,150 for the provision of health services through the Williamson County Health Department.  The State of Tennessee has committed to a minimum of $1.5 million for the support of these efforts.  The agreement has been signed by all parties, and is part of the City of Franklin’s annual budget process.

 

Financial Impact

The agreement formalizes the City’s appropriation of $21,150 to the Williamson County Health Department as part of the Appropriations section of the FY 2019 Operating Budget under account 110-87120-45920.
