title

Acknowledgement of a Professional Services Agreement (COF Contract No. 2019-0090) with CDM Smith Inc. for the SR-96 East Sidewalk Project to Finalize the FEMA Letter of Map Revision in the Amount of $11,400.

body

Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning COF Contract No. 2019-0090.

Background

As part of the SR-96 East Sidewalk Project, the City was required to complete a flood study and to obtain a Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to revise the flood map(s) in the area of the project.  This preliminary study and the sidewalk project are complete.  The final step associated with this project is to physically change the flood map(s) with a FEMA Letter of Map Revision (LOMR).  All property owners impacted by the flood plain changes were notified and fairly compensated for the impacts associated with the project.

Financial Impact

$11,400 paid out of the CIP fund associated with this project.
