body

Background:

Per an informal agreement with the Williamson County Planning Department, the Franklin Municipal Planning Commission and/or City departments may review County projects that are proposed within or near Franklin's Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) and make recommendations to the Williamson County Regional Planning Commission. This project is within Franklin’s UGB, and the property is expected to be annexed prior to receiving City sewer service.

Staff Comments:

This item is scheduled for review by the Williamson County Planning Commission at the April 11, 2019, meeting.

City of Franklin staff recommends that the following recommendations apply to the project and be provided to the Williamson County Regional Planning Commission:

1.                     Along Henpeck Lane, there is a private fire line shown at the edge of the sanitary sewer easement. The fire line should be moved north approximately 5’ to allow for maintenance through the entire sewer easement.

2.                     The proposed water meter locations should be revised in order to allow water to remain in service if sanitary sewer maintenance occurs in this area.

3.                     The private sanitary sewer service line extending north alongside the west side of the school must have private sanitary sewer castings. The private sewer will have to be tested to ensure no infiltration.
