Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a request from the Shalom Foundation for valet parking for an event scheduled for May 18th.

 

Background

Per Sec. 16-1306 of the City of Franklin Municipal Code, the Board of Mayor and Aldermen may authorize the issuance of a valet parking permit by resolution.

 

This is an annual event for the Shalom Foundation and the Building and Neighborhood Services Department has received no complaints about the operation during previous occurrences.

 

Financial Impact

If approved, the applicant will pay a fee of $125 for the permit.
