Annual Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (COF Contract No. 2018-0268) in an amount of $311,339.80 for software maintenance renewal of all Microsoft Products.

Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement annual payment.
Background
This contract is an annual agreement with Microsoft for the support of services of all Microsoft software within the City. This is purchased through a statewide contract purchasing agreement.
Financial Impact
$243,000 is currently budgeted in fund 110-82510-41350. The increase over the budgeted amount is a result of additional users of the Office365 software over the past year as well as email security services we utilize with this service. The IT Department budget has funds in other areas to cover the cost.
