Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning Comcast providing internet services for Kiewit Infrastructure South Company (Kiewit) for the construction at the Water Reclamation Facility.
Background
As part of the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) construction, Kiewit has provided construction trailers for both entities, CDM Smith and Kiewit. As part of their contract with the City, they are required to provide internet services for both trailers and any visitors to the site. This Contract will allow Comcast to extend their line from Mack Hatcher into the WRF property and provide internet to the construction trailers for the duration of the project.
Financial Impact
There will be no financial impact to the City as this is part of the contract with Kiewit.
