Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Professional Services Agreement (COF Contract No. 2017-0038) with KorTerra, Inc. for KorWeb Enhanced Services.
Background
KorWeb is the software that is used for accepting, organizing, and distributing Tennessee One Call tickets (811) throughout the City when excavation is expected to occur. This service allows us to redistribute tickets automatically, based on service areas for each Utility Locater, rather than manually moving the tickets each day. This allows for a more efficient use of operations and quicker response times by the Utility Locating staff.
Financial Impact
The cost associated with this agreement was for an amount not to exceed $8,900.00.
