Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning an Affidavit of Scrivener’s Error to correct COF 2014-0311.
Background
On November 21, 2014, the City Administrator approved an Agreement for Dedication of Easement for the Carothers Gap Project. This agreement was partially recorded and did not include the exhibits. The additional referenced exhibits were then recorded with an affidavit of scrivener’s error.

The City Administrator approved this Agreement under the Authority Granted by the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen by Resolution 2012-05. The affidavit of Scrivener’s error was signed by the Director of Engineering.
