Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a public utility and drainage easement abandonment agreement with SS Knoll Top, LLC. (COF Contract 2017-0350).
Background
SS Knoll Top, LLC. is the property owner of a parcel known as Map 079 Parcel 40.19. A Public Utility & Drainage Easements runs across the property as shown on the plat of record (PB 62, PG13). There are currently no City drainage or utilities located in the PUDE and SS Knoll Top, LLC. required the city to abandon a portion of the easement to accommodate their development project.
