Purpose

The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning an agreement to use the Williamson County Enrichment Center to host a technical class for electrical inspectors and electrical contractors.

 

Background

The City of Franklin held a class on Significant Changes to the National Electrical Code.  This class updated both inspectors and contractors on technical issues in the latest publication of the NEC.  The class was instructed by the code official who wrote the book.

 

Financial Impact

Rental of the facility was at no cost.  The City of Franklin is grateful to Williamson County for the use of their facility.

 

Recommendation

This contract was entered into by the City Administrator under authority granted by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
