Acknowledgement of City of Franklin Lease Agreement (Contract No. 2018-0047) with James Gardner d/b/a East Franklin Farmer’s Market at Liberty Park.

Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the second year the East Franklin Farmer’s Market at Liberty Park will take place each Saturday.
Background
In 2017, the East Franklin Farmer’s Market operated at Liberty Park in the phase II parking area. The weekly program was very successful and therefore is recommending the continuation of the program with local farmers selling fresh produce in the park between the hours of 7:00am till 2:00pm each Saturday.
Financial Impact
The Lessee shall pay twenty-five dollars ($25.00) in rent for the year by July 1, 2018.
