Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) that approval was given on behalf of the Board to enter into an agreement for the cleaning of COF Fire Station Range Exhaust Hoods. [$ 4,530.00]
Background
Every Fire Station within the City of Franklin has a range hood located over their cooking range unit in their kitchen areas. These hoods have not been cleaned in an extensive period of time (at least 10 years) and maybe longer. During an inspection of one of the facilities, the grease was evident on one of the hoods exterior fan units deeming the need to clean.
Financial Impact
The project amounted to a total cost of $ 4,530.00 and will be funded through the facilities budget.
Recommendation
This purchase was approved by the City Administrator under authority granted by the Board of Mayor of Aldermen.
