Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning Resolution 2018-43, A Resolution Authorizing Condemnation for the Acquisition of Property for the Bobby Drive Water Line Improvements Project.
Background
The existing water line in Bobby Drive is in need of an upgrade. In order to construct the project, there are 28 total easements to be obtained, of which 7 are left to be acquired. The purpose of this resolution is to have the ability to condemn the property in the case that the property owners do not grant the easement.
