Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a nondisclosure agreement with Schneider electric, allowing the IT Department to review their data model to evaluate their fiber software.
Background
The IT Department is looking to purchase a software application to track City owned fiber. Schneider Electric provides this type of software. In order to review the data model and insure that we could use the software after purchase, we asked Schneider Electric for a copy of the data model. Schneider Electric requires a nondisclosure agreement to be in place in order to allow this type of review.
Financial Impact
This is a $0 agreement and has no financial impact.
