Acknowledgement of City of Franklin Contract No. 2017-0265 for rental of Franklin Trolley.

Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the rental of a Franklin Trolley from the Tennessee Management Association during the Tennessee Recreation and Parks Association Conference.
Background
The Franklin Parks Department hosted the 2017 statewide conference in October 2017. Lisa Clayton, Parks Director and past President of TRPA hosted the past Presidents and Fellow-Award Recipients at the Factory. The trolley was rented to transport from the host hotel to the Factory of Franklin for a private dinner.
Financial Impact
The total cost for the rental service for October 24, 2017 was $400.00 which included a driver for the evening.

Staff is informing the Board of Mayor and Alderman COF Contract No. 2017-0210 was signed on-behalf of BOMA by the City Administrator. The memo is to provide documentation this action took place through following existing City procurement processes.
