Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning COF Contract 2017-0351, services between the State of Tennessee Department of Health and the City of Franklin.

 

Background

This standard agreement formally states the legal basis for funding health services between the City and the State for the Williamson County Health Department. While a small amount of money is appropriated through the annual budget process, this agreement is a necessary and formal part of delineating which government entity is responsible for providing funds to the Williamson County Health Department.

 

Financial Impact

The City’s financial impact was $21,150 in Fiscal Year 2018.

 

Recommendation

This agreement has been approved through authority previously granted by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen to the City Administrator.
