body
Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a request to deny Sanitary Sewer Availability to 4176 and 4184 Columbia Pike.
Background
City staff received an availability request to deny sanitary sewer to 4176 and 4184 Columbia Pike on February 15, 2018. The property is located outside of the City Limits and the closest gravity sanitary sewer infrastructure is approximately 8,000 LF from the property line. This property is not located within a basin that the City is prepared to serve at this point. In the past, the BOMA has granted these types of denial requests due to the cost associated with extending infrastructure.
