Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to inform the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) that approval was given on behalf of the Board to enter into another year’s agreement with Graceworks located at the former Streets Department Building located at 108 Southeast Parkway. At a monthly rental of One Thousand Dollars and no Cents [$ 1,000.00]
Background
Over this past year, the City of Franklin and Graceworks Ministries has continued its relationship in regard to the agreed upon lease of the former Streets Department building (office area) on Southeast Pkwy. Graceworks Ministries has, during this past year, been an excellent partner to work with regarding the cities lease requirements. They continue to maintain the facility in good working order and have had very few and minor requests. The lease terms remain the same from the previous year.
Financial Impact
Currently there is no financial impact to the city of Franklin.
Recommendation
Request for approval of the new lease dated January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018
