Purpose

The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning [the City-owned property at 403 & 405 5th Avenue North known as the Hill Property].

 

Background

[BOMA has requested that the City conduct a neighborhood meeting about the future use of the Hill Property.  A consultant will be creating several land use scenarios to assist with public engagement and a potential Envision Franklin plan amendment.]

 

Financial Impact

Contract 2017-0358 is for $25,000 for professional design services and renderings.

Staff recommends that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen acknowledge receipt of this report of execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Tuck-Hinton Architects for design services in connection with the Hill Property-5th Avenue North Planning Study (COF Contract No. 2017-0358).
