Purpose

The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the current status of the Downtown Parking Capacity and Management Study.

 

Background

On August 9, 2016, the BOMA approved a professional services agreement (COF Contract No. 2016-0230) with Volkert, Inc. to study both existing and future parking in Downtown Franklin.  As we are nearing the completion of the study, the project team would like to present the draft recommendations from the study.

 

These recommendations encompass the three (3) general areas of: Infrastructure, Management, and Operations.  Following this presentation, the project team seeks input from the BOMA so that the study may be finalized.
