Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement for the Bobby Drive Water Line Improvements Project (COF Contract No. 2015-0075).
Background
The Bobby Drive Water Line Improvements project began in March 2015. The engineering firm of OHM Advisors designed the plans at the direction of City Staff. This project will be constructed in-house by the City of Franklin Water Management staff. Easements are a major part of the project as this roadway is outside the Franklin city limits and the water line will be outside of the right-of-way. The easement acquisition process has been slow; since the project began changes have occurred that have required revisions to the easement documents. OHM has updated the documents as requested.
Financial Impact
Increase to original contract of $6,000.
