Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) with information on a professional services agreement (COF 2016-0262) with Norman Hall & Associates, LLC for appraisal services for the Spencer Creek at Franklin Road Interceptor Sewer Improvement Project.

 

Background

BOMA approved the design contract (COF 2014-0044) for the Spencer Creek at Franklin Road Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project on March 11, 2014.  The project consists of the rehabilitation of the 36-inch sanitary sewer line from Spencer Creek at the CSX Railroad crossing approximately 1,500 linear feet downstream to the existing 36-inch sanitary sewer on the west side of Franklin Road.  Staff is ready to move forward with the property acquisition on the project.

 

Financial Impact

$3,500 to be paid out of the sewer funds. 

 

Recommendation

The City Administrator has approved this agreement under his authority granted by the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen under Resolution 2012-05.
