Purpose

The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Professional Services Agreement (COF 2016-0287) with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. for the 1st Ave and Bridge Street Construction Plans in an amount not to exceed $20,000.

 

Background

The Harpeth Square Development team submitted plans and obtained approval on the design for 1st Ave and Bridge Street.  Following that approval, City staff and the developer reviewed the construction plans and agreed to make some modifications to accommodate a future sidewalk on the north side of the roadway.  It was determined that the City of Franklin would be responsible for the cost associated with this redesign.

 

Financial Impact

$20,000 to be paid out of the Capital Improvements Budget
