Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning utilization of CDBG funds for Public Facilities improvements.
Background
In Program Year 2015-2016, $60,311.80 was allocated through the Annual Action Plan in the Public Facilities Activity. Proposals for projects were requested, and three projects were selected to receive funds from this category. Community Housing Partnership was selected to receive $21,109.13 out of the $60,311 for infrastructure improvements (tap fees, new water service lines, and driveway repair) to the group home project on 254 Natchez.
