Purpose
The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning Change Order No. 1 (FINAL) with Jenco Construction, Inc. for the construction of the Century-Beasley Connector (COF Contract No. 2015-0042) for a DECREASE in cost of $91,155.88.
Background
The construction contract for the Century-Beasley Connector was awarded by the BOMA to Jenco Construction, Inc. on August 11, 2015 in the amount of $399,250.97. This project was substantially complete and opened to traffic in July 2016. The project has reached final completion is ready for final closeout.
Financial Impact
This DECREASE of $91,155.88 represents a 22.8% cost savings from the previously approved contract ceiling of $399,250.97.
