Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) for the consideration of Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with CDM Smith for the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Project.
Background
This amendment is for additional work on the WFR design that was requested by the City based on ramifications from the lawsuit between the Harpeth River Watershed Association and the City and current and future odor control issues associated with the WRF as raised by the public.
Financial Impact
The cost as negotiated with CDM Smith for the design services is a total amount not to exceed $484,230.00. Based on the amount of work involved, the proposed cost appears to be appropriate.
Recommendation
Staff recommends approval of Amendment No. 3 to the PSA with CDM Smith (COF Contract No. 2013-0001) for an amount not to exceed $484,230.00.
