Purpose/Background

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning Ordinance 2016-024 that pertains to two amendments to Appendix A - Comprehensive Fees and Penalties of the Municipal Code specifically, permits fees relating to Ordinances 2016-023, Street Occupancy, Excavations, and Obstructions and 2016-11, Valet Parking both of which are pending consideration. 

 

Financial Impact

The proposed ordinance will update the City’s fee structure for permits for work performed by other entities with City streets and rights-of-way.  The ordinance also establishes the permit fee structure for valet parking in the central business district as approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen.
