body

Purpose

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the short-term status of the Hill Property.

Background

This Resolution has been introduced to formalize the recent discussions by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen regarding the short-term status of the Hill Property.  A second option is for the Board to request staff to prepare a Request for Proposals for redevelopment of the Hill Property to gauge both interest and potential uses. Regardless of the option selected, staff recommends proceeding with the demolition of the existing structures, immediately.

Recommendation
