Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with R. Rhett Turner for review appraisal services for the SR-96 East Sidewalk Project.
Background
There are 30 properties on the project; staff will be acquiring the right-of-way (ROW) and easements per the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Uniform Relocation Act. The Uniform Relocation Act must be followed if any state or federal money is available before construction.
Financial Impact
The appraisals for these 30 properties will cost $47,400.00 (8 tracts at $1,800.00 each and 22 tracts at $1,500.00 each). Funds to be paid out of the General Obligation Bonds.
