body
Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning Supplement No. 1 to the existing contract Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Contract No. 7914 (COF Contract No. 2012-0161) for easements as required by the relocation of the water lines for the I-65 Widening/Goose Creek Interchange Project.
Background
The original contract was approved by the BOMA at their October 23, 2012 meeting. The water line relocation plans have been revised to reflect revisions by TDOT. This has caused the construction cost, engineering fee and easement amount to be increased. TDOT has provided the City with their standard contract supplement for the required relocation.
Financial Impact
The contract supplement will increase the eligible reimbursement amount for the City with regard to the water line relocation easements for the I-65 and Goose Creek Interchange Project. The original amount approved was $11,090.00 and will be increased to $55,242.30.
