Background/Staff Comments

The applicant is requesting to be included within the Height Overlay District (HTO), which would allow them to build to the maximum allowable building height of 12 stories, which is surrounded by parcels within the HTO District.

 

Project Considerations

Sewer availability and capacity need to be considered. The rezoning allows for the ability to construct up to 12 stories, but a full sewer availability letter must be granted by the City to ensure that full sewer capacity can be provided at this location.

PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS:                     

1.                     Fifteen half-size copies of the Rezoning shall be submitted to the Planning and Sustainability Department by 9 A.M. on the Monday after the Planning Commission meeting in order to be placed on the Board of Mayor and Aldermen agenda.

2.                       The City’s project identification number shall be included on all correspondence with any City     

department relative to this project.
