Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) concerning the Final Change Order for the Charlton Green Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project (COF Contract No. 2014-0065) with Underground Pipe & Construction.
Background
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) approved the construction contract for the above referenced project with Underground Pipe & Construction on May 13, 2014 in the amount of $429,999.00. Change Order No. 1, which increased the contract cost by $45,675.00 for a total contract price of $475,674.00, was approved on November 25, 2014 by the BOMA. Change Order No. 1 included the asphalt surface mix and cold planning needed to repair the roadway. The Notice to Proceed was issued on December 1, 2014.
Financial Impact
Final Change Order will be a contract cost decrease of $10,369.10.
