body
Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to provide information to the Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) for the consideration of the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Garver for construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services for the Fieldstone Farms Pump Station No. 1 Improvements Project.

Background
On January 14, 2014, the BOMA approved a PSA (COF Contract No. 2013-0223) with Garver for design services for the Fieldstone Farms Pump Station No. 1 Improvements Project.  The construction time for this project is 365 calendar days.  The services provided by Garver will supplement the project oversight provided by City Staff to ensure that the pump station is constructed in accordance with the approved design plans.

Financial Impact
The cost, as negotiated with Garver, for the CEI services is a total amount not to exceed $196,000.00.  Based on the work involved, the proposed cost appears to be appropriate and will be paid out of the Sewer Operating Fund.

Recommendationrec
Staff recommends approval of the Professional Services Agreement with Garver (COF Contract No. 2015-0058) for an amount not to exceed $196,000.00.
