Purpose
The purpose of this procurement is to re-coat the concrete exterior of the City's Ash Drive two million gallon water storage tank. The project is routine and necessary for compliance with Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) rules and regulations.
Background
The City published on April 2, 2015 a Notice to Bidders in the Williamson Herald to re-coat concrete exterior of Ash Drive two million gallon water storage tank. In addition, bid documents were sent on or about the same date directly to nineteen (19) potential bidders known or thought to be interested in this solicitation. Bids from seven (7) vendors were publicly opened at the bid opening held on April 21, 2015. A tabulation of the bids received for this solicitation is attached.
Financial Impact
The apparent lowest, most responsive and responsible bid, from WW Masonry Restoration and Waterproofing of Nashville, Tennessee is in the total lump-sum amount of $44,363.00 for the specified project.
